This Pow Wow took place in Baltimore, Maryland in 2005. The tribal members were from Florida and were performing as a fund raiser for a youth program. Also featured are photos from the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. Last 10 photos from August 2009 in Belvidere, IL.
Dancing within the circle. The Pow Wow is a family activity. Visitors are invited into the dance circle at approriate times during the Pow Wow. Obviously a very colorful event, photos can not convey the singing and drumming excitment of the Pow Wow. You have to experience one!!
